Retired solicitor, formerly a corporate partner at Field Fisher Waterhouse (1998-2008) and Allison & Humphreys (1979-1997). Acted as a solicitor for television and communication sector clients and others on a range of corporate transactions and joint ventures. Trustee of various charities, currently including The Grierson Trust, which promotes excellence in documentary film making through the annual Grierson Awards.

Ltd  (suppliers of unsecured consumer credit) 1988-date.  Self-employed Consultant providing business support services 1998-date.  Vice President & Executive Director Corporate Services, Addison Wesley Longman (now called Pearson Education) 1973-1997; Articled Clerk, Audit Senior & Trainer of Articled Clerks, Price Waterhouse, 1966-1973.

Robbie Baird

Former Regional Director of British Airways (BA), has over 30 years’ experience working in an international environment. At BA, Robert helped shape corporate strategy and direction as well as having responsibility for commercial strategy and leadership

Andrew Fellows

Retired former CEO of a charitable Housing Association.  Former Chairman of Governors of Bedgebury School and former Chairman of The Bedgebury Foundation, a grant making charity providing support to individuals requiring specialised education or training.  Now practicing as a freelance housing and property consultant. Chairman of Kingsown Properties.

Peter Mackenzie Smith

Consultant in international education and training, and a director of Getenergy Ltd.  Previous career involved 28 years in the British Council in various positions, including director for educational contracts, for export promotion, and for South Asia and Africa.  A member of UK Trade and Investment’s advisory committee on education and skills. From 1997 to 2003, a Director of Education for GEC and for Marconi, with responsibility for designing and implementing partnership programmes with a number of universities in the UK, the US, and Europe and for the company’s relationships with the education sector in the UK and overseas. Was seconded by Marconi to UK Trade and Investment as their first export promoter in the education and training sector.  For three years was chairman of UK Trade and Investment’s working group on education and training for Iraq, and is a trustee of the Arab British Chamber of Commerce Foundation and of the Dakhleh Trust.

Matthew Maunder

Senior operations, infrastructure and change leader in the financial services industry. Matthew has extensive leadership experience gained in relationship banking, strategy development, change management, and business operations. He has previously held senior executive positions at Barclays and Fidelity International. Matthew now lives in the Middle East and is the Group Operations Director for a new international private medical insurance company.

Eileen Milner

Former posts include senior leadership level in public service and educational consultancy. She has helped large, complex public service organisations deliver successful change and sustained improvements in performance. Eileen has also worked in education as the Head of the School of Law, Governance and Information Management and Director of Postgraduate Studies at the University of North London.

Former Global Director of Embassy CES and Group Marketing Director of Study Group, joins the board with extensive international experience in global educational brand building, business development, corporate acquisition and leading high performing teams.
