The Bell scholarship fund

Bell continues to seek new ways to fulfil its charitable objectives and to support philanthropic activities throughout the world.

The Trust offers a variety of scholarship programmes including:

  • scholarships for international students, aged 12-17, to attend Bell Bedgebury International School
  • scholarships for adult learners to attend courses at our UK intensive centres
  • scholarships for English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teachers to attend IATEFL, the main industry conference, which provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and opportunities to meet with other teachers throughout the world. 

In addition, in 2008 over 17,000 new subscribers have signed up, free of charge, to Bell English Online which brings the number of people to over 114,000 around the world, who are benefiting from Bell’s expertise in English language learning but who might not otherwise have had access to our services.

As well as scholarships and free online services, Bell is in the process of further developing its charitable activities. Details will be available later in the year.
