Work with Bell young learners

1. Choose your role

Decide which position(s) you would like to apply for. Read the job description and check that the job is suitable for you and that you possess the required qualifications and experience. Remember that we offer contracts for varying lengths – so the centre dates are not necessarily full dates that you have to work.

Register an account online and apply to your chosen young learner position. Download and complete the Experience and Education form found in the job advert. Please make sure that the application form is FULLY completed and that there are no unexplained gaps in your employment as this will delay your application. Upload the form to your account and submit your application. Please note that in accordance with our commitment to safeguarding children and young persons, all applicants must complete the Experience and Education form. We are happy to accept CVs in addition to this form, however CVs alone will not be accepted.

2. Selection for interview

We will acknowledge receipt of your application form and will contact you within two weeks if you have been invited to an interview. If you do not hear from us within four weeks, please assume that your application was unsuccessful at this time.

References may be taken up before interview if you have agreed to this in your application form.

Interviews may take place via telephone, face-to-face or a combination of the two.

If your application is unsuccessful, you will receive notification of this within a maximum of four weeks of your interview.

3. Successful candidates

If your application is successful, you will receive a Welcome Pack containing an offer of employment, a contract, assignment schedule, CRB form, payroll and personal details forms and other useful information relating to the course. Please sign the contract, complete the forms detailed in the checklist and post everything back to us, along with any documentation required for the CRB check.

"To work here, you need to be the type of person who enjoys meeting new people and having new experiences. The students feed off your behaviour, so if you're excited and into things then they will be excited and into things too."
