About the centre

Bell Sofia, also known as AVO-Bell School of English, was established in 1990 and became a Bell centre in 2000. The centre offers a wide range of English language courses for young learners, adults and teachers of English as a Foreign Language.

Accreditation and awards

  • Accredited by EAQUALS, a pan-European association of language training providers, which verifies the quality offered by its members
  • Founder member of OPTIMA, the Bulgarian Association for Quality Language Services
  • The only school in Bulgaria to run internationally recognised training courses for teachers of English (CELTA and Delta)

Facilities

  • Modern classrooms which cater for small groups (maximum class size of nine)
  • A study centre where students have the opportunity to undertake self-study
  • A multi-media centre, which has computers with internet access
