Thailand Thailand - Bangkok – Assumption College Thonburi

About the project

Assumption College Thonburi (ACT) is Bell’s longest-standing working relationship in Thailand. Founded in 1962, the school covers 30 acres and is home to 4500 boys, aged 6 - 17 years old. Girls are also admitted from the fourth year of secondary school. With a good reputation locally, particularly for English, competition to get into the school is extremely fierce.

The college is a 30 minute taxi ride from central Bangkok but in a quiet suburb. There are currently 700 students studying on the Bell programme at ACT. The majority of students on the programme are 11 - 14 years old, but classes are also offered to children in prathom 1 – 6 (6 - 11 years old) .
