Talking about her appointment, Eileen said: “I’m passionate about helping organisations look at new ways of working to maximise their potential. As a Bell governor I’m keen to look at ways we can develop the Trust to deliver language training to even more students across the globe .”

Nick Tellwright, former Global Director of Embassy CES and Group Marketing Director of Study Group, joins the board with extensive international experience in global educational brand building, business development, corporate acquisition and leading high performing teams. Nick commented: “I have been involved with international education at a variety of levels for over 25 years. Through working with students, parents and agents, I have a deep understanding of the key drivers that motivate students to seek education abroad. With this knowledge, I look forward to working with the board and senior management team to guide the growth of the Trust.”

Eileen Milner will also join Bell’s Academic Board, which oversees the Trust’s academic activities and standards. Joining Eileen on the Academic Board is Peter de Voil. Peter has spent his career in education, most recently he has worked as a Headmaster at an independent school in Prague.

Each brings a formidable track record from their sector and the combined effect of their differing areas of expertise will play a major role in helping the Trust achieve its ambitious plans. In this period of economic uncertainty experience and strong leadership are essential and so I am particularly pleased to welcome on board such high calibre recruits.”

All members of the Bell Educational Trust’s board of governors and non-executive members of the Academic Board work on a voluntary basis and meet throughout the year to guide the Trust’s development.
