Deal with Ardingly College heralds major expansion for Bell Young Learner programmes

04 November 2011

For 2012, Ardingly College will become one of Bell's UK summer centres, playing host to international students focusing on developing their English language skills.

Situated in the heart of West Sussex, Ardingly College is Bell's sixth young learner centre in the UK, offering a brand new dual-certificated programme of English language and activity-based courses for 12-17 year olds from around the world.

Boasting a range of outstanding indoor and outdoor facilities, Ardingly College is the perfect venue to host Bell's brand new two-week programme, Young Achievers. This is a certificated programme focusing on developing students' English language skills, for which they will receive a Trinity English Certificate if successful. In addition, students get the opportunity to study a certificated activity programme from Performing Arts, Water Sports, Outdoor Survival Skills, Technology or Sports Leadership.

With Bell's young learner programmes increasing in popularity by 25% since 2009, a record 3,000 international students attended Bell's courses this summer. Due to the success of the courses, the demand for places at Bell's young learner centres is rapidly growing, as Tony Anderson, Director of Sales and Marketing at Bell explains:

"Our decision to expand our portfolio of young learner centres comes in response to the outstanding success our young learner courses have enjoyed. We are expecting 2012 to be a record breaking year for Bell, welcoming more students than any year in our history. Bell is committed to providing excellent courses to young people across the world, and our new venture with Ardingly will ensure we can offer an even more exciting activity programme to make the experience truly memorable."
