Renowned ELT expert to head up Bell Teacher Campus

George Pickering, well known within the field of ELT management as an educational coach, trainer and consultant, has been appointed as Director of Bell Teacher Campus at Homerton College, University of Cambridge.

George has directed seminars and courses for a wide a number of organisations and is a tutor on the English UK Diploma in Management and the Cambridge ESOL accredited International Diploma in Language Teaching Management (IDLTM).

He is an inspector of language schools for the British Council in the UK (Accreditation UK), he was the treasurer of IATEFL for six years and is the co-ordinator of the IATEFL ELT Management Special Interest Group.

He has an MA in Applied Linguistics and is a Master Practitioner and certified trainer in Neuro Linguistic Programming. 

His major interests are helping to develop leaders, setting up coaching and mentoring schemes and increasing the professional development opportunities available to English Language Teaching professionals.
