Bell International, a leading education charity and English language provider, has set up two new teaching centres in China and Vietnam to support each country’s growing need for high-quality English language, business and cultural skills training. Commenting on the importance of the new centre in Beijing, David Pottinger, Bell’s Chief Executive said: “There is a demand for high-quality language and management training, which is needed to support China’s rapid growth. Working with our Chinese partner ZFJH and Cambridge Pragmatix, an international network of business school lecturers, management trainers and consultants, Bell Beijing is able to offer off-the-shelf or bespoke courses that prepare Chinese professionals for an international business life.” The centre is already seeing encouraging signs of success with open courses on management themes and communications coaching for senior executives already proving popular. Daniel Cotterall, Bell Beijing’s general manager comments: “With courses such as ‘Working in an international company’, ‘Socialising, wining and dining’ and ‘Cross-Cultural Management’, the emphasis is on developing business people that are able to compete in a global market.” The Beijing Centre is the third Bell centre in China after Shanghai and Macao.
